New Client Evaluation - 1 Hour

• First visit with Mōveo

• Includes new injuries or body region that have not been previously evaluated

• Incorporates a comprehensive assessment and plan for your injury

• Involves a thorough history, physical examination, and explanation of your unique injury

Depending on the complexity of findings, this appointment can also include interventional services such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and a personalized home exercise program.

• Includes hands-on and focused treatment and interventions with cutting edge therapy modalities including cupping, intramuscular needling with e stim, manual therapy, and customized therapeutic exercise

• Involves modification and/or progression of therapeutic exercise program

This visit is used primarily for treatment and to carry out your personalized plan of care.

• Reserved for Established Clients that have had a New Client Evaluation in the past year

• Have experienced treatments in the past and require periodic maintenance and upkeep to avoid injury

• Connect Therapy Model: A cutting edge in-depth, posture and movement-based model that is patient-centered and considers the influence of the whole body in an injury. This model allows for treatment of your symptoms while also addressing the true source of your pain.

Cash Based Care

A Cost-Effective Approach to Physical Therapy

We are considered an out-of-network provider by commercial insurance companies. Being outside the network frees us from many limitations and confusing procedures imposed by the insurance company and allows us to better serve you the patient.

How does this approach save you money?

1. Schedule your appointment at your convenience online.

2. Meet with your therapist for your appointment.

3. Pay before or after your appointment. We accept:

   • cash

   • checks

   • FSA & HSA cards

   • all major credit cards

   • We also accept Personal Injury Protection coverage if you are the subscriber on the policy.

4. Once payment and treatment are complete, we provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your health insurance for reimbursement if you have out of network benefits

How does out-of-network and cashed-based care work?

Believe it or not, you can actually save hundreds of dollars by paying for your services directly rather than involving a third-party process to bill your insurance company. By not having to play by the ever-changing rule book, restrictions, and reductions in reimbursement from commercial insurance companies, we have created a new environment where you and your physical therapist are completely focused on your care.

There are no hidden costs at Mōveo, and transparency is our gold standard.

How does this affect my treatment plan?

The current health insurance model creates barriers to delivering individualized care due to visit limitations, pre-authorization requirements, lower reimbursement for services, and high deductibles — which goes against our belief that treatments must be tailored to the individual to be effective. With an insurance-driven treatment plan, your care is dictated by what the insurance allows not by what your body needs.

At Mōveo, exceptional care is the standard, and no two individuals or injuries are exactly the same. For that reason, you will always be treated by a physical therapist to get you better faster. We believe the cashed-based model allows for the best patient outcomes and is more cost-effective in the long run by reducing the number of visits required to meet your goals.

Each session will leave you with a more complete understanding of your injury, and feeling empowered that you can prevent it from recurring in the future with your arsenal of new tools.
